Kiel (dpa / lno) – The corona incidence in Schleswig-Holstein has remained at a similar level for around a week. The number of new infections registered per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days was 1154.7 on Thursday, according to the data from the state registration office (as of 6:58 p.m.). Exactly one week earlier the value was 1168.7, two weeks ago it was 1468.3.
According to data from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Thursday morning, Schleswig-Holstein has the fourth highest incidence value in a comparison of the federal states. Only in Thuringia, Lower Saxony and Saarland was the number higher. In February, Schleswig-Holstein was one of the countries with the lowest corona incidence. According to calculations by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the seven-day incidence nationwide was 1015.7 on Thursday.
The number of new corona sufferers admitted to hospitals per 100,000 people within a week – the hospitalization incidence – was 5.74.
7020 new infections within 24 hours were reported in the country. A week earlier there were 7182. In connection with the corona virus, 574 patients were in clinics – 16 fewer than the day before. Of them, 56 were treated in an intensive care unit (-5) and 19 (-2) were ventilated. The number of people who died in connection with a corona infection rose by 9 to 2373.
According to the data, the districts of Dithmarschen (1432.6), Nordfriesland (1323.4) and Schleswig-Flensburg (1294.9) had the highest seven-day incidence. Pinneberg continued to have the lowest incidence with a value of 914.0.
