A spokesman emphasizes: The emergency services are not only moving out to break up parties. They also control distance rules, for example when many day-trippers are out tobogganing on the Bückeberg.

Notes from the neighborhood

In the district of Celle, the riot police are helping to enforce the Corona rules. The officials have not yet recorded any major celebrations there. According to their own statements, the police keep talking to people who are walking in groups. In the Hanover area the police regularly have to deal with illegal meetings. Last weekend alone they had to end celebrations in Barsinghausen and Hanover-Mühlenberg, among other places. The clues often come from the neighborhood, it said.
