Yesterday, the Qalubiya Health Directorate launched a massive inspection campaign to control the drug market, in compliance with the directives of Major General Abdul Hamid Al-Hajjan, Governor of Qaliubiya, which resulted in the seizure of 48 expired drug items and 19 unknown source items, and it is forbidden to circulate in public pharmacies.

The campaign was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Hamdi El-Tabakh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Olfat El-Sayed, Director General of the General Administration of Pharmacy in Qalioubia, and led by Dr. Vivian Henry, Director of the Department of Pharmacy Inspection, where some pharmacies of the Health Administration in Khanka were inspected, and 16 items of unknown origin and composition were seized , It is forbidden to circulate in general pharmacies, and 3 classes of drugs are prohibited from circulation in public pharmacies because they are for hospitals and the Health Insurance Authority, and some free samples, and 48 items that expire in different quantities are placed on the shelves and are intended for circulation with the public.

Seizures were made, the necessary records were edited, and the Public Prosecution office was presented for consideration and disposal.
