Hofer thinks turquoise green is “bad for Austria” – News

Hard criticism of the former coalition partner: Norbert Hofer criticizes that the new government is experiencing “inflation” and that the VP candidate is “lacking any relationship with the army”.

FPÖ federal party chairman Norbert Hofer described the impending agreement between turquoise and green as “bad news”. According to media reports, the new government will be larger than that of the ÖVP and FPÖ. This inflation is to be questioned above all because the environmental agendas are apparently supposed to migrate to the Ministry of Infrastructure, which had previously covered a huge range of tasks. This coming government of 15 ministers plus two secretaries of state does not have much to do with the concept of thrift, Hofer rumbled.

Hofer expresses concern for the army

Norbert Hofer is also skeptical about how the security departments in Austria should proceed: “With its personnel decision in the Ministry of Defense, the ÖVP has already shown how much it is important to the army is at the tip. ” And further: “In any case, we will also follow developments closely in this area.”

“Exclusive rule in the Ministry of the Interior”

The FPÖ chief also complained that the ÖVP was striving for sole rule in the BMI. From a state secretariat – as under black and blue – “there is currently nothing to see in the black and green federal government”. Hofer: “Another proof that the ÖVP does not want to be looked at in the Ministry of the Interior.”

Hofer wants to be “tough on the opposition”

The FPÖ federal party chairman sees a financial glimmer of hope “in the fact that the ÖVP provides finance, interior and defense ministers”. Hofer: “The way to equip the security departments financially sensible is a short one. The ÖVP has no excuse if it continues to put the security areas so important for Austria under so much financial pressure”, explains Hofer, who also announces that the FPÖ will make a solid opposition policy: “tough on the matter, but respectful in the personal dealings.”
