If a product succeeds, or there are forecasts that it will succeed, you will probably find it in the catalog of the well-known Chinese brand of technological products Xiaomi. A catalog that can sometimes leave you a little perplexed.
Busy with the mess between Thermomix and Lidl, throwing the tackle at the head in the courts to see who copied whom, without realizing it we have been sneaked into the door of the house OCooker Multi-Purpose Cooking Robot, the kitchen robot Xiaomi’s own that the firm launches through one of its brands -OCooker-.
For the moment, the device has only been offered for sale through the platform crowdfunding from Xiaomi, Youpin, where the company sells the first models of many of its devices. You have already achieved your fundraising goals.
The robot has up to 21 predefined settings -frying, steaming, chopping, making smoothies, braising …-, 7 inch touch screen, Connection WiFi and synchronization with mobile. It weighs approximately 7.4 kilos.
Its power is 1,500 W – the same as that of Thermomix– and the main vessel has a capacity of 2.2 liters, it is made of stainless steel and it allows cooking at temperatures ranging from 34 to 120º.
The price on Youpin is 3,999 yuan, at 758.32 euros. It has not yet been spoken about whether it will be sold in other countries, but given the popularity of these devices, it will surely succeed.
