A resident of the Pajuil neighborhood, in Hatillo, is wanted by the murder of a 27-year-old woman in front of his residence in Arecibo, in events that occurred yesterday afternoon, the police reported.
Criminal charges were brought against Lemuel Cruz Cruz, 39, for the crimes of first-degree murder and two charges for violations of the Arms Law. The filing was in charge of the prosecutor Rafael Freytes Cutreras, along with the agent Alexis Camacho Soto of the Homicide Division of the Arecibo area.
According to the investigation, the accused shot and killed the young Alexandra Cardona Torrado, 27, who was inside the 2016 KIA Soul car, in front of her residence in the San Rafael de Arecibo urbanization.
The case was presented before the judge Michelle Camacho Nieves of the Arecibo Court of First Instance, who after hearing the evidence determined an absent cause, and therefore ordered an arrest warrant against Cruz Cruz. Bail ascending $ 2 million.
