Linz – Effective immediately, Antonia Koch (25) is the new marketing manager for OÖ Nachrichten, taking over the agenda from Elisabeth Eidenberger, who is on parental leave. Koch has held various positions at Medienhaus Wimmer since 2015 and is now responsible for the areas of corporate marketing, event marketing (including major events such as the Linz marathon, gala night of sports, Pegasus business gala, etc.), B2B marketing, online and social media marketing as well as the event location “OÖNachrichten FORUM” in downtown Linz. Martin Prinz will continue to be responsible for subscription sales and reader marketing.
Antonia Koch studied economics at the JKU Linz and is currently completing her master’s degree in management. “I’m really looking forward to the new tasks and I’m looking forward to this year with confidence, so that after a period of restrictions I can start again with all my strength in the events area. The aim is to further extend the lead as number 1 among the daily newspapers in Upper Austria,” says the new marketing manager. According to the figures of the Media-Analysis 2020/21 (MA), with 358,000* readers daily (reach: 28.4%*) from Monday to Saturday, OÖNachrichten is number 1 in Upper Austria.
