Mexico City, Jun 24 (Prensa Latina) Mexico remains alert to a fairly sustained rise in Covid-19, although it has not yet been classified as a fifth wave and no new protection measures have been declared, the Ministry of Health explained today.

The entity reported that in the past 24 hours, 16,133 cases of the disease were confirmed, with which it adds up to 5,924,000 cases since SARS-Cov2 appeared in Mexico in February 2020.

Even the media reported that, despite the fact that health center hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in populous city halls such as Iztapalapa and Tlalpan, the test kits run out before noon and people who cannot pay individuals are forced to return the next day.
