Complaints that images of women are copied without permission and disseminated in pornographic groups. The female victims also claim that the photos are taken through WhatsApp groups. A survey by Manoramanews found that women are often unaware that their photos are being copied and spread this way. The victimized housewife revealed to Manorama News that she was devastated after learning that her photo of her was being circulated through a pornographic group and she was so mentally drained that she could not even speak.
