The two chief physicians at the ENDO Clinic Hamburg, Dr. Thorsten Gehrke and PD Dr. Andreas Werner, are among the best physicians in Germany. New: Dr. Alexander Richter. The senior physician is one of the best spinal surgeons in Germany. This was determined by the news magazine Focus in Germany’s largest doctor rating.
The news magazine Focus-Gesundheit has chosen two physicians from the ENDO Clinic among the best orthopedists in Germany: Dr. Thorsten Gehrke, Medical Director and Chief Physician, and PD Dr. Andreas Werner, Chief Physician. Prof. Dr. Gehrke is represented twice – both in hip and knee endoprosthetics. PD dr When it comes to shoulder surgery, Werner is one of the best in his field.
The ENDO spine expert Dr. Alexander Richter: He was voted one of the top physicians in the field of “spinal surgery”! “We are very happy about these awards. Our thanks also go to our team, without which medical care at such a high level would not be possible,” says the medical director, Dr. Thorsten Gehrke. “We really appreciate the fact that we’re among the best again this year.”
Clinic managing director Philip Wettengel adds: “We see the recommendation from patients and colleagues as a great sign of trust. About the ENDO Clinic
In 2018, the ENDO Clinic was designated as a center for endoprosthetics in the Hamburg Hospital Plan. This makes it the only officially recognized center for endoprosthetics not only in Hamburg, but nationwide and treats more than 9,000 patients a year who come to Hamburg for treatment from all over Germany and abroad. This means that the ENDO Clinic in Hamburg has by far the highest level of care for artificial joint replacement. Over 40 percent of all hip and knee endoprostheses in Hamburg are used in the ENDO Clinic. In addition, there is the provision of shoulder, elbow and foot implants.
