Back-to-school allowance paid to more than 34,000 Euréliens

The back-to-school allowance (ARS) is an aid intended for parents who have low incomes to enable them to meet the expenses of the start of the school year. This year, around 3 million families are benefiting from this aid across the country.

In Eure-et-Loir, 19,395 families and 34,225 children are affected by this allowance, indicates Yasmina Amri, communications officer at the Caf Eure-et-Loir. According to her, the total amount paid this year in the department is 13,173,842 €.

The child must be enrolled in a public or private educational institution or body, or with a distance education body, such as the National Center for Distance Learning (Cned). “For children aged 6 to 15, there is nothing to do, but families with children aged 16 to 18 must provide a sworn statement attesting that their child is still in school or in apprenticeship », She specifies. To receive the ARS in 2021, your annual resource ceiling must not exceed € 25,319 with 1 child, € 31,162 with 2 children, € 37,005 with 3 children, as well as € 5,843 more per additional child within the home.
