Average Fuel Prices in Latvia: Increase in Gasoline and Diesel Costs According to European Commission Data

In Latvia, the average price of brand 95 gasoline increased by 0.6% last week, while the average price of diesel fuel increased by 1%, according to data compiled by the European Commission (EC).

The EC information published this week shows that in Latvia, a liter of brand 95 gasoline cost an average of 1,578 euros in the week from June 27 to July 3, a week earlier the average price of brand 95 gasoline was 1,569 euros per liter, and a week ago – 1,579 euros per liter .

On the other hand, the average price of diesel last week in Latvia was 1,434 euros per liter. A week earlier, the average price of diesel fuel was 1.42 euros per liter, and a week before – 1.411 euros per liter.

It has already been announced that the average price record for brand 95 gasoline in Latvia was achieved in 2022 in the week from June 14 to 20, when the average price of brand 95 gasoline was 2.104 euros per liter, while the record for the average price of diesel fuel was achieved in the week from June 21. until June 27 – 2.108 euros per liter.

The EC collects data on average fuel prices from member states every week.
