Artist and TV profile Aune Sand (55) was burnt during the recording of TV 2 series «Alex and Aune».
It was VG who mentioned the incident first.
The accident happened when a person was about to fire a cannon from a boat on Christmas Eve this year. The only problem was that the cannon was not fired, after several attempts.
It must have given Sand a bad feeling – a feeling he should have listened to.

Next to him in the boat was an open bag of gunpowder, while Sand himself held the match, while another tried to start the cannon. It all must have ended with Sand himself catching fire.

The 55-year-old tells VG that in the situation he managed to remain calm, but the thought of the family and the children was present. He still does not want to blame anyone.
– It is clear that when you have to fire with cannons and have a gunpowder warehouse, you should have routines and respect. Of course you can say that this should not happen, and of course it should not happen. But the whole production team is very concerned about safety and is super professional, this has also happened then. Accidents happen, Sand tells VG.

– Routines were followed
Press manager at TV 2 Jan-Petter Dahl tells Se og Hør that the accident happened in connection with the Jonsok celebration in the mentioned program. According to Dahl, both Sand and TV partner Alex Rosén (53) must have been present when the accident took place.
However, it should not have been due to any routine failure during the recording.
– As we have been explained this afterwards, all routines were followed, but unfortunately the lid on the powder box was not closed as it should have been. The incident is of course taken very seriously by the production company Strix and we received a thorough report immediately after the incident, says Dahl.

Dahl informs that everyone involved was well taken care of after the accident, and the production and TV 2 are happy that things did not get worse with Sand.

Good friends
The recording of the TV 2 program makes Sand together with his good friend Alex Rosén, with whom he had a good bond when they spent a few days together on TV 2- «Torpet», when they were together on «Farmen kjendis» in 2019.
Rosén has previously told Se og Hør that he became so fond of and fascinated by Sand, that he wanted to get to know him better.

– TV 2 ignited the idea. So now we are in the village Bleik on Andøya together with a few hundred permanent residents. We live together as an old married couple, and spend a lot of time with the locals, says Rosén, who says that this is one of the funniest things he has ever done on TV.
