Apple fans have been waiting for a new budget smartphone from Apple for a long time. After all, the iPhone SE came on the market in spring 2016. iPhone 9 will probably start again at $ 399
Apple is said to be launching the iPhone 9 or iPhone SE 2 for $ 399. That would be the same price that the predecessor iPhone SE 2016 had and that the analyst Ming Chi-Kuo has already mentioned for the new model. In Germany, the price could thus be between 450 and 500 euros.
However, it is unclear how much memory the new iPhone will bring. Four years ago, Apple installed 16 GB in the smallest memory configuration. Given the growing memory requirements and the price trend – today there is more flash memory for the money from back then – the iPhone 9 aka iPhone SE 2 could have a little more memory. Versions with 64 GB and 128 GB are currently suspected.
It is considered relatively certain that Apple uses the iPhone 8 as a model for its new, inexpensive smartphone. Accordingly, the iPhone 9 will no longer be quite as compact as the original iPhone SE, which has a display diagonal of just 4 inches. Instead, we expect a size of 4.7 inches, which is still quite small in the current comparison. The iPhone 9 could therefore please those who want a compact smartphone.
Stable performance thanks to the latest processor
Compared to the previous version, the performance of the new budget iPhone should be significantly more up-to-date. Not least because of the A13 Bionic, which Apple is supposed to use as a processor.
