As the company informs quite sparingly, a microbiological contamination of the product cannot be excluded. According to a BVL report, shiga toxin-producing E. coli has been detected.

The shiga toxin is enterotoxic and cytotoxic and shows similarities to the toxin produced by shigella. Analogously, VTEC (verotoxin producing E. coli) named.
