Anderlecht is working on a new striker and it would like to release Tolu Arokodare from the Latvian Valmeira.
But Valmeira does not agree with a transfer for the time being, much to the dismay of the Arokodare itself. The 19-year-old striker has therefore expressed his dissatisfaction in the press.
“Anderlecht is the ideal step for my career. It is a big club in a good competition. I can develop better in Belgium. It would be the right step”, said Arokodare.
Anderlecht would like to put between one and a half million euros on the table for Arokodare. The Nigerian does not understand that his club is difficult.
“If that amount is correct, we are talking about a record transfer in Latvian football. I hope that an agreement can still be found.”
