On Wednesday, Klubbb3 singer Jan Smit (34) announced in an emotional post on Facebook that he feels physically and mentally too weak to perform upcoming stage appearances. This includes appearances with his band Klubbb3.
In November of last year, Smit had already withdrawn due to illness and had to cancel concerts. At that time it was said that he had suffered from severe physical complaints since he had developed a larynx. But that was far from all, as Smit himself now admits in his post.
Smit writes: “I only have one body and now – retrospectively – know that I am not a robot either.”
Smit’s band colleague Florian Silbereisen (38) has complete understanding for the withdrawal of his stage partner. He says to BILD: “The most important thing is that Jan now takes the time he needs. Everything else is now completely unimportant. Christoff and I will always be there for him when he needs us. The three of us in our Klubbb3 WhatsApp group are in constant contact with each other. ”
What is the next step with Klubbb3? Silbereisen to BILD: “Of course, Klubbb3 will only appear again when Jan is healthy and fit again.”
He continued: “No Klubbb3 appearances are planned until the song contest final in the Netherlands in May, which will be moderated this year by Jan Smit, among others, so that Jan can prepare for this big task in peace. In summer, new tracks will be prepared for the next album, which will then be recorded in the second half of the year. The new album will then be released in January. “
