Surely many of you have heard of the “Animal Crossing Grandma”. This is the 88 year old Audreywho is a huge fan of Animal Crossing: New Leaf is. She has over in almost four years 3500 Spent hours in her city on the Nintendo 3DS. She became a small celebrity by her grandson, Paul Hubans, who posted a photo of her season on Twitter last year:
Nintendo may even have heard of this tweet. Because in the English language version of Animal Crossing: New Horizons was a wolf added, which the name “Audie” wearing. Audie is the nickname that the Animal Crossing grandma used in Animal Crossing: New Leaf for her character. This assumption was made known by the reddit post from “koolwala”:
In order for Audrey to be able to spend countless hours of play in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, money was collected via a crowdfunding platform to make one for them Animal crossing switch to buy. It didn’t take long for the amount to be reached.
The handover took over from her grandson, who turned it on for his YouTube channel Video, in which she answers frequently asked questions and her brand new Unpack the console. Among other things, in this video she talks about how she started with the Nintendo 3DS part, what she likes most about Animal Crossing and she also talks about the resident, who is supposedly named after her.
