Darmstadt (ots) – In the area of Heinheimer Straße / Kopernikusplatz there was an accident with two cyclists on Thursday afternoon (4.6.) At 1.45 p.m. According to initial knowledge, the two cyclists met on the pedestrian crossing there. According to the current state of knowledge, the 55-year-old overlooked the oncoming 67-year-old cyclist, causing a collision. The investigation is ongoing. The Darmstadt resident was taken to hospital because of her leg injuries. Scratches appeared on her bike. The 67-year-old Pfungstadt resident was not injured. The intersection had to be closed for a short time to start the accident. In order to clarify the exact cause of the accident, witnesses who have seen the collision and are able to provide relevant information are asked to report to the 1st police station in Darmstadt at 06151 / 969-3610.
