A young lady from Plovdiv meets the love of her life. Initially, she lives in a real paradise, but suddenly her husband abruptly changes his behavior. Constant harassment, violence and threats began. There were even blows in front of their two children.

The couple began their story in 2009. Then they met in Plovdiv, after which they gradually began to meet and like each other. After three years of full-fledged relationship, they decided to move on to the next stage in their relationship, reunited and lived on a marital basis. Initially, they were alone in an apartment in the city under the hills.
Subsequently, for three years, from 2013 to 2016, they lived in the home of the woman’s parents, and the next three – in the home of the husband’s parents. They had two children. For a short time, at the beginning of their cohabitation, the two got along well, but soon problems began between them and their relationship became a real horror movie for the woman from Plovdiv.
The husband showed his true nature and began to systematically use physical and mental violence against his wife. This always happened when they were alone. He often only attacked and insulted her, even on minor occasions, but he also beat her several times. He threatened to kill her and their children if he complained to anyone about his actions.
She, in turn, tolerated his behavior and hoped it would not happen again. Over time, however, the aggressive husband became more unceremonious, unrestrained, and reckless. He began to commit physical violence in front of other people as well. The first such ugly scenes took place in the summer of 2014. The couple was then in the home of the wife’s parents. Her mother was there at the time, caring for their firstborn boy.
While the desperate wife was washing dishes in the kitchen sink, a verbal quarrel broke out between her and her husband, in which he approached her and grabbed the ring finger of her left hand, then abruptly twisted it to one side. The woman was in great pain and cried out. The baby’s grandmother, who was holding him in her arms during that time, witnessed.
Nevertheless, she intervened and tried to push her husband away. However, her intervention did not stop him, on the contrary – he slapped his wife several times in the face and head area, then left her alone. The next day he apologized to her and regretted it. Although this behavior was common after any such scandal, the wife did not report it to the Ministry of Interior and did not seek medical help in the hope that her husband would recover.
In mid-2016, the young family moved to the home of the man’s parents, where they had a private room. One month after the move, the aggressive husband resumed physical and mental violence. He insulted his wife, slapped her and threatened her. He even began to show aggression towards their child, who at the sight of his angry father hid under the table and did not dare to go out.
On New Year’s Eve 2016, the couple went out to a restaurant with friends to celebrate the arrival of 2017. Everyone was having fun and the evening passed peacefully. The couple then took a taxi and drove to their apartment. During the trip, the husband began to ask his wife what they would do when they returned home. She replied that they would sleep. The answer angered him because he had very different intentions for the end of the evening.
After entering the apartment, the two went to their bedroom. The man’s elderly parents slept in the other room. The exhausted husband pulled his wife to the bed, but she flatly refused. This behavior made the man even angrier, and he began to insult her. He grabbed her by the neck and began to squeeze her hard, then slapped her several times in the head. She explained to him that she wanted to go to bed and sleep, and that she had no desire to be intimate with him.
Then the man became furious and punched her in the head, as she fell into the wardrobe. Seeing that he was furious, the harassed wife put her hands in front of her face and head to protect herself. She called for help, but no one heard her. In one of the blows, his fist met the puppy on her left arm. She screamed in pain and her finger was very swollen.
Shortly after the beating, a woman called her father and asked him to come and take them with the two children. Since he was also drunk, he didn’t come until morning. On January 1, she visited a doctor who splinted her finger. Even in their apartment, just before they left, her husband pulled her aside and explained to her that there was no point in sending any signals to the Ministry of Interior, as his grandfather was a police officer and therefore would have no effect. He even threatened to take their children away from her. This affected her, and during the examination she lied that she had her hand on the door of the taxi.
After the examination, she met her cousin, who noticed her bruises and injuries. She asked what had happened to her, but she did not share it and went home. There she looked around and noticed that she did have many bruises on her body. Deciding that this was the end of her relationship with her husband, she packed her bags. There were apologies and assurances from him that the harassment would stop and would not happen again. He managed to dissuade her, but she did not report the beating to the police this time either.
A few months later, their relationship was normal, but the nightmare began again. In July 2019, the aggressive husband offered to go to a fish restaurant with his parents, but she refused. Angry, he grabbed her and threw her on the armchair, then hit her on the head. Their little daughter, who was screaming in fear, witnessed. In order to please him and not to further stress the psyche of her children, she went with them to a restaurant. After this incident, she made a firm decision that she would separate from her husband.
The next day, she called him on the phone and told him she didn’t want to be with him anymore. He asked her several times to consider her decision, but she was adamant. The husband begged at least to rent an apartment in the city to see his children. The woman agreed. Two weeks later she found and rented an apartment.
After the separation, the woman continued her life and fell in love with another man. They lived on a family basis, and in October 2019 they entered into a civil marriage. However, her happiness irritated the former.
So one day he wanted to meet with the children to give them a cell phone and see them. He asked to take them to him, but she refused. A heated argument broke out again. She started to go home, getting in the elevator with the kids. The former grabbed the door and did not allow it to close. Then the mother and children went up the stairs. He did not let them pass and because of that his wife slapped him. The children managed to get under his arm, and she went with them.
Shortly before she reached the third floor, the rapist caught up with her, grabbed her T-shirt, and yanked her back. She fell on the inter-block site. He didn’t stop there. He started kicking her on the head and body. The children witnessed the horror. She told them to call her new husband, after which she lost consciousness. The children got on and shouted: “Get down quickly! Dad beat mom! ”
The new husband went down with his brother, and the ex started insulting and threatening them, telling them: “I will kill you, I will go upstairs and I will kill you all!”. They started fighting. After a while, employees of the Fifth District and ambulances arrived. The very next day, the woman asked for protection from domestic violence. The court forbade him to approach them for a year and a half.
