Al-Marsad Daily: The dollar exchange rate rose against the Egyptian pound as of the close of banking today, Monday.
The price of the dollar has risen by about two plates, to register an increase of about 5 plates since the beginning of the trading week in banks in Egypt, according to Cairo 24.
The price of the dollar in the Central Bank of Egypt recorded 19.44 pounds for the purchase and 19.55 for the sale, while the price of the dollar in the National Bank recorded 19.46 pounds for the purchase and 19.52 for the sale.
At Banque Misr, the dollar price today was £ 19.46 for the purchase and £ 19.52 for the sale.
It is worth noting that the dollar’s price against the pound has continued to rise since last Tuesday, following the Egyptian central bank’s decision to fix the interest rate.
