NEW YORK – Authorities are investigating the incident where a minor allegedly shot another child during an apparent argument inside a park in the Bronx.
According to the New York City Police report, the incident occurred on October 7, at about 5:37 pm, inside the park. Hunts Point on 704 Hunts Point Avenue. At that time, the report says, a 13-year-old boy was shot in the knee after an alleged verbal fight with another minor who fled the scene.
The victim was transported to the hospital NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition.
The alleged attacker fled with four other individuals who are being sought for questioning, the police officer said.
The alleged gunman is known as “Chulo” and is between 11 and 13 years old. He was last seen in a New Balance shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers. There is a second person in the photo shared by authorities looking for questioning who was last seen wearing a red T-shirt and multi-colored sneakers.
