Al-Marsad Newspaper: Infectious disease consultant Dr Tariq Al-Azraqi has revealed the fate of the Corona pandemic, indicating that the virus will not go away.
He said during an interview with the “Al-Ikhbariya” channel, the world recorded about 3 million injuries per day and the number has now dropped to 100 or 200 thousand, indicating that the cases recorded now were not as serious as the previous cases. .
He stressed that the vaccines have been effective in besieging the pandemic and the Corona virus, adding that this does not mean the virus will disappear, but rather it will remain endemic and cause very mild infections.
And he went on, the cases that are now being registered, such as the cases of simple flu, adding that the Kingdom has registered a community immunity rate of 70%.
He pointed out that the number of deaths that occurred ranged from 6 to 7 million worldwide, and this is a great achievement for medicine, which has developed and accelerated the production of vaccines.
