A young woman was shot while walking through the streets of East Harlem. Police have determined that she was not the target of the person responsible for the shooting.

The incident happened this Tuesday night at around 10, at the height of 122nd Street and Third Avenue. A Citizen App video captured police activity at the scene.
According to the uniform, the 23-year-old woman first heard the shots, before realizing that she had been hit in her right leg by one of the bullets.
The victim was transported to Harlem Hospital in stable condition. So far no arrests have been made.
