Not necessarily widely used by the general public, functionality Remote play reminder to play PS4 games via other devices, as a PS Vita, a smartphone or even on a PC. But obviously, Sony wants to expand the range of possibilities.

A member of Reddit indeed shared an investigation by Sony in which the Japanese manufacturer asks if users of the Remote play would like to be able to play on more devices, citing “Nintendo Switch, Apple TV or Android TV”. Playing titles exclusive to PlayStation 4 on the Switch would still be nice, but there is obviously nothing active at the moment.
However, this survey shows the interest of Sony for the Remote play, and with 52.48 million Switch on the market, such a feature would be far from silly.
