Jakarta: Previously, the Poco brand announced price cuts for the Poco F4 GT smartphone, now it is the turn of its parent, namely Xiaomi, to cut selling prices for two variants of the Redmi 10 smartphone.
According to official information provided to Medcom.id, Xiaomi has cut the selling price of the Redmi 10 2022 and Redmi 10 5G variants. Both are middle-class smartphones, aka midrange, which were popular in Indonesia when they were first released.
Redmi 10 2022 is a middle class 4G smartphone that relies on the MediaTek Helio G88 chipset. The 6.5-inch screen size offers FHD + resolution with a refresh rate of 90Hz.

In terms of cameras, Redmi 10 2022 has three rear cameras with a main capability of 50MP and an 8MP front camera. This smartphone is offered at a new price of IDR 1,899,000 from the previous IDR 2,149,000 for the 4/64GB model.
As the name implies, Redmi 10 5G offers a mid-range smartphone that can already connect to the 5G network. The MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset is embedded here with a 6.58-inch FHD + display and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Redmi 10 5G has a rear camera with 50MP capabilities and a 5MP front camera. The price drops to IDR 2,399,000 from the previous IDR 2,799,000 for the 4/128GB variant. Xiaomi claims that this moment makes the Redmi 10 5G the most affordable 5G smartphone in Indonesia.
