“When I broke through my self-doubt, everything started to happen.” A forest fairy, Boo, who is on her way to her goal

It’s been like this all my life, but now I’m learning to break out of the shell faster.

In that sense, my parents supported me since childhood, but when I made the decision to devote myself completely to music, leave the music secondary school and leave the philosophy faculty, my parents did not fully understand and did not want to accept it.

Now I am happy with my choices, because I have a clear path, direction and mission. Sometimes I get offered cool collaborations or projects, but if it’s not my way, then I know I don’t have to do it. It hurts those people’s egos and I’m bad for them, but really I’m just doing my thing.

I still have a way to go. I am learning to believe in myself and be like a horse with flaps on its eyes, going towards the goal.

What is your mission as a singer?

My target audience is 28-35-year-old people who grew up in the Soviet heritage. Clearly, this age group has difficulties with being aware of their emotions, letting go, not to mention gender equality and inclusive attitudes in society.

As a loving and empathetic person who is aware of the power of nature in the tradition of the Latvian language, my mission is to normalize the nurturing of emotional intelligence in a healthy way.

Find the free space to express yourself, cry, get angry, fall in love, allow yourself to be. I go to bed at nine, get up at five, write a journal, go to work on my dream, swim abalone, do sports, drink a lot of water, do not drink alcohol. One of my ideologies is health, because without physical and emotional health there is nothing. Taking care of myself and each other has always been important to me.
