The Spanish league concluded this Thursday the investigation into Juan Cala’s alleged racist insult to Moctar Diakhaby during Cádiz-Valencia on Sunday. In protest, the team of Thierry Correia and Gonçalo Gudes left the field of play, returning 25 minutes later.
According to AS, La Liga hired a company specialized in lip reading and also thoroughly investigated all available audios and television images, having found no evidence of racism. Diakhaby, Valencia’s French center-back, said Juan Cala called him “black man…” during the game.
