NEW YORK — An 8-year-old boy was the victim of a shooting in the Bronx on Tuesday, according to the New York City Police Department.
Police received a call about the incident shortly after 5 p.m. The shooting broke out at 328 Beekman Ave in the Mott Haven section of the county.
The little boy was shot in the thigh. He was transported to Lincoln Hospital by private means, according to the NYPD. She is expected to survive.
Since the incident, police announced that two suspects were arrested and taken into custody.
