“6-Year-Old Girl Found Dead with Trauma in New York City Apartment”

NEW YORK — A 6-year-old girl was found dead inside an apartment in the Bronx early Friday with trauma to her wrists and torso, New York City Police said.

According to the authorities’ report, officers responded to a 9-1-1 call at about 3:57 a.m. warning about the well-being of a girl inside an apartment in the Forest Houses building complex located at 730 East 165 Street. . Upon arrival, they found the minor identified as Jalayah Eason, 6, unconscious with injuries to her wrists and torso. The child was declared dead at the hospital.

A medical examiner will determine the girl’s cause of death.

So far no arrests have been reported.

The case is under investigation.
