The first marriage occurred between Jek (24) and Linda (20) and Vivin (19) in Empat Lawang on Thursday (9/9/2021). A day later, the marriage of a man with two women happened again.
This time the marriage was carried out by S (17) with A (17) and SS (17). They were married in Musi Rawas Utara (Muratara).

1. Known from Viral Uploads
Jek’s marriage to Linda and Vivin and S to A and SS are both known from viral uploads. The first post shows a moment of Jek smiling happily between two women.

“The marriage is true. The marriage contract is around 10:00 WIB, the location is in Kampung 2, Muara Saling Village,” said Saling Sub-district Head, Empat Lawang Regency, Salman Alfarisy Anwar.
Salman said Jek and Vivin are residents of Muara Saling, while Linda is a resident of Rejang Lebong, Bengkulu. The local government only allows the contract procession due to the Corona pandemic situation.
“This morning, Pak Indra, the Acting Head of the Muara Saling Village, also came to the location of the marriage ceremony. There were several people and relatives of the bride and groom who witnessed the marriage contract. Until the event was over, the procession took place with wisdom and obeyed the prokes,” he explained.
S’s marriage to A and SS is also known from viral uploads. The Karang Anyar Village Government, Rupit, Muratara, confirmed the incident. According to the local government, S’s marriage to the two women took place on Friday (10/9/2021).
“It’s true, yesterday (Friday, 10/9), there were our citizens who married two girls at once. This happened on the basis of consensual,” said Karang Anyar Village Head, Amir, when asked for confirmation, Saturday (11/9/2021). ).
S initially performed the marriage contract with A at the bride’s residence at around 13.00 WIB. Meanwhile, SS was married at his residence at 15.00 WIB.
“The first marriage ended Friday afternoon, around 13.00 WIB, the marriage was normal. Well, what made the scene was at 15.00, he remarried,” said Karang Anyar Village Secretary, Wildan Hakim.
