3-Year-Old Saudi Boy Bitten by Snake Saved in Record Time at Al-Darb General Hospital

A snake bit the Saudi boy, Aziz Al-Mishari, who is about 3 years old, in the leg.

The child’s father said: “We live in a mountainous area full of trees and valleys, far from the cities in the mountains, and my son Aziz was playing in the courtyard of the house. He was bitten by a snake in his left foot, and the mother was unable to catch up with the child, so she bandaged the injured area, called for an ambulance, and they were treated.” The child was transported in record time, saving the life of the child who was screaming in intense pain.”

He also added: “We arrived at Al-Darb General Hospital via the Red Crescent, and we were received by the duty director and the doctor, and the case was dealt with with all speed and professionalism, despite the child’s continuous screaming.”

He said: “We live with the difficult nature because the area is a place for the family and the mother clings to the place, and we have encountered more than one snake in it, and my children and wife are in a constant state of readiness for any snake attack.” (Arabic)
