This Sunday the slight rebound in deaths from COVID-19 continues, according to the report provided by the Ministry of Public Health. It was confirmed that nine people lost their lives to the coronavirus, three of them were women and six were men.
Another particularity is that all the deceased were in the age group of 60 years and over, of which one had the full dose of vaccine, four did not complete the immunization schedule and four were not inoculated. The departments of: Alto Paraná, Misiones, Central, Guairá and Paraguarí are indicated as origin.
With these latest figures, the total number of deaths amounts to 18,586, since the first positive case of coronavirus was reported in Paraguay, on March 7, 2020. The health authorities indicated that 1,757 samples have been processed, of which 131 they tested positive, with which they add up to 647,099 confirmed.
