A 43-year-old was robbed of a handbag by an unknown scooter driver on Wednesday, September 23rd on Gustav-Heinemann-Straße. At around 10:35 p.m. she was on the sidewalk on Gustav-Heinmann-Strasse in the direction of the Westring. A scooter driver drove past her near Poststrasse and snatched her handbag. The Hammerin then fell and was slightly injured. The robber fled on his blue scooter towards the Westentor and then drove through the pedestrian zone towards the train station. The fugitive is thin in stature. He wore a black jacket, jeans and a black motorcycle helmet. Witnesses are asked to call the Hamm police on 02381 916-0 or write an email to [email protected]. (Jb)
