The police arrested two minors early on Saturday morning (June 26) in Stoppenberg after an armed robbery.

At around 4:40 a.m., the two German boys aged 13 and 16 entered a pump room on Essener Strasse. While holding a firearm, they demanded cash from the 53-year-old saleswoman. The employee fled at a favorable moment. The predatory duo then fled with two packs of cigarettes.

The alerted police were quickly at the scene and temporarily arrested the alleged perpetrators after a brief pursuit. A search of the escape route led to the discovery of a balaclava, the loot and a fully loaded PTB weapon. The robbery commissioner continues the investigation. / MUe.
