XTREMEtour020: Two Urfahraner on the XTREMEtour

URFAHR ENVIRONMENT. The 7th XTREMEtour of the Province of Upper Austria will take place from 23 to 29 August. A tour by and with twelve young Upper Austrians that starts at the summit of the Dachstein. Rebecca Birngruber from Bad Leonfelden and Georg Erlinger from Herzogsdorf are two of the twelve XTREMEtour020 participants.
A tour whose specialty lies in the natural route through the dreamlike landscape of our state, as well as in the sporting achievements of the six teams of two. In seven daily stages, the participants will be on their way to Gmunden over more than 180 kilometers and 8,300 meters in altitude on snow, in the rock and by the water, where an overall winning team will be chosen after a daily voting by the fans at home and the evaluation of the guides and the sum of all day challenges becomes.

Casting enforced

The six women and six men have already cleared the first hurdle on the way to Gmunden. They prevailed against the last 40 competitors in the final casting and received one of the coveted places to participate. Rebecca Birngruber and Georg Erlinger are two of the lucky ones. Together with their team partners, the two go into the race.
