This Saturday, on the occasion of the 13th edition of the Descente des Alpages de Grenoble, the world record for the largest tartiflette was challenged, and beaten!
It took 850 kilos of potatoes, 75 kilos of bacon, 50 kilos of onions, 220 reblochons, 350 liters of cream and 4 hours of gentle cooking to enter the Guiness Book of Records.
Two bailiffs were able to see that the restaurateurs managed to cook a ton of tartiflette, following the traditional recipe.
A grand dauphinois gratin was also made during this festive day.
