The Palais Brongniart, in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, is hosting the 17th edition of the Women’s Forum Global Meeting this year. Entrepreneurs, legislators, voluntary associations or shadow workers realize that it takes action to restore equality between men and women. “Make women’s voices heard and create change”, proclaims the slogan of the event. The platform asks how to facilitate human relations and set standards to support gender equality.
“Multiple political, economic and social actors are urging us to urgently address the profound consequences of climate change. The COVID-19 pandemic poses growing threats to women’s sexual and reproductive rights and forces us to overhaul our systems to meet needs of women”., writes the forum on the event website. Debates will be exchanged on health, climate change, financial investment, education, the powers of technology or even humanitarian aid.
