Women ‘s fitness club in Vecmīlgrāvis violates gathering restrictions and organizes group trainings Without Taboo

Upon receiving a video from the viewer of “Bez Tabu”, which shows that during the gathering restrictions announced in the country, sports club group classes are still taking place in Vecmīlgrāvis, “Bez Tabu” decided to carry out an inspection.

The windows are sealed with film, the doors are locked so that the police, who have already tried to enter, are nowhere to be found. Its private sports parties are cool, but is it really that hard to sit at home or exercise alone for a month?

The video sent by the anonymous viewer was taken at the building at Augusta Dombrovska Street 23. Next to the denim clothing store is the entrance door of the indicated sports club. The windows on the second floor are covered, but we still notice light and movement in the rooms.

According to the resident, the entrance through the sports club door takes place a moment before the start of a new class. From the hideout, we see the situation at the sports club building.

Glazed plastic doors open for gentlemen, ladies and children. Within a few minutes, even more than ten potential customers cross the threshold of the sports club.

Looking at the information available on the Internet, we find out that the fitness and dance studio “Endorfine” is located at the specific address. When opening the website, we immediately notice that even during the restrictions announced in the country, several group trainings are applied for.

At 18.00 sports club scheduled for the Brazilian bottom [Brazilian butt; angļu val.] lesson. At least 15 participants have previously applied for this lesson.

Soon the light in the hallway goes out, but a lady dressed in light and sporty clothes closes the door. True, every moment the potential coach returns to let in the next portion of clients. Using surprise tactics, we also manage to get inside.

It turns out that kickboxing classes for children also take place on the second floor. However, the coach refuses to let him into the hall “Without Taboo” in order to be able to ascertain what he said. In turn, behind the second door of the staircase, the sought-after Brazilian bottom lesson also takes place. Here the door remains locked. However, you can hear not only the coach’s loud teams in Russian, but also through the keyhole you see a group of ladies sweating in the gym.

Soon a kickboxing coach comes out of the building and locks the front door, trapping the children and ladies on the second floor. The coach thus returns several times and leaves again, locking the door. There is also an active telephone conversation.

About 10 minutes after the last conversation with the wrestling coach in both halls, the light on the second floor goes out. The door remains locked. Apparently, the gym participants themselves have found another way out and run away from the camcorder lens. Therefore, this time to prove that a group lesson really takes place here, in theory, it may fail. Although we saw from the hiding place that at least 10 people, if not more, entered the building.

This is certainly not correct from an epidemiological safety point of view, it is not to be supported, and it is certainly not fair to those colleagues who follow all the rules carefully, because, as in other conditions and in cases where the rules or procedures in the country are violated. is determined, the supervisory authority is the State Police.

Lawmakers “Without Taboo” point out that the police do not support this type of activity and can be punished for it.

State Police Representative

However, it must be emphasized that the primary task of the police is not to punish, but to provide preventive information. It is the responsibility of each merchant if any currently prohibited activity is organized in the sports club. However, if the police receive information about a possible violation, the police react.

Natural persons are threatened with non-compliance with the rules up to 2,000 euros, but legal entities – up to 5,000 euros.

However, the Ministry of Health recommends carefully assessing whether it is really necessary to go and attend such and similar classes, where the potential for infection is immediately significantly higher.

In order to limit Covid-19, the ban on organizing sports activities in groups for both children and adults has been extended until 13 November.
