Autorickshaw vandalized by Katana in top division of Munnar Kannimala Estate.

The incident took place at 10 pm last night near the labor unions of Kannimala Top Division.

The autorickshaw, which was going from Munnar to Kannimala with 6 passengers, fell in front of Otayan. It is reported that Suresh Kumar, who fell on the elephant’s feet when the elephant overturned the car, was picked up by the elephant and thrown. Suresh Kumar was seriously injured in the fall and died on the spot.
Esakiraj (40), his wife Rajina (37) and daughter Kutti Priya (11) were injured in the Tata High Range Hospital in Kannimala Top Division. Three non-state workers in the auto escaped unhurt.
