From Africa to China, via India, this Sunday between between 6h47 and 10: 32 French hour and during 1 minute and 22 seconds, a part of humanity will have the privilege of seeing sneak up to a solar eclipse, exceptional of type “ring of fire”.
One to two times per year
Astronomical phenomenon that occurs only once or twice a year, it is the Moon that passes in front of the Sun in alignment with the Earth sufficiently perfect to hide it.
But not entirely, as during a total solar eclipse : the Moon is not close enough to the Earth. This is an annular eclipse, that is to say, at its maximum, there is a ring around the Sun, called the “ring of fire”.
