In Chernihiv, a group of young people severely beat two police officers… As a result, one of them – 30-year-old Artur Erokhin – died on the spot. The second, Vladimir S., is now in serious condition.
Law enforcement officers detained four suspects and, as it turned out, at the time of the crime, none of them was 18 years old. Nevertheless, criminal proceedings were opened, the students face jail, up to life imprisonment.

Police officers were attacked in a supermarket and finished off on the street
The tragic incident in Chernigov took place on the night of October 1–2 at the ATB supermarket. According to eyewitnesses, several young people sworeso an older couple made them comment… The people were also supported by the police, who were no longer at work and just went to buy groceries. Then started verbal skirmishwhich grew into fight.
On video from surveillance cameras four young men can be seen dragging two men across the floor. One tries to get up, but they beat him again. Two more strangers and a girl say something to the attacker, they answer. After that, the intruders leave the supermarket.

A little later, the police went out into the street, but the hooligans were waiting for them there, so they attacked them again. The teenagers themselves also filmed what was happening on their phones. When the victims were already lying on the ground in blood and showed no signs of life, the attackers continued to laugh, and one of them punched.
The dead turned out to be 30-year-old Arthur Erokhin – Senior Commissioner of the Department for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings of the Chernihiv Police. The man, who received about 20 blows to the head, left behind a wife and two small children.

The second victim is Vladimir S. He is now in a regional hospital in serious condition. Although the press service of the police in Chernihiv region assured that the life of the policeman was no longer in danger.

Minors often bought alcohol in supermarkets, which seemed to be sold to them without problems.

All the attackers are students of various educational institutions. But now they are taken into custody.
The police opened criminal proceedings under clause 12, part 2 of article 115 (premeditated murder committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons) and the perpetrators faces punishment from 10 to 15 years in prison up to life imprisonment.
