The American singer, Taylor Swift, addressed Donald Trump on the social network Twitter and did not skimp on criticism of the position of the President of the United States in relation to the riots that followed the death of George Floyd by the Minneapolis police, accusing -to incite violence and racism in the country.
The riots took place across the country after the death of the African American man by the Minneapolis police. Destruction and looting of angry citizens, made Trump react on Twitter: “These bandits are dishonoring George Floyd’s memory and I will not let that happen. I just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the military will be with him. Any difficulty, and we take control, but when the thefts start, the shootings start ”.
… .These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I won’t let that happen. Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will take control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!

Following Trump’s message, Taylor Swift wrote: “After encouraging white supremacy and racism throughout your presidency, do you still have the nerve to pretend you have moral superiority before threatening to go on to violence? ‘When the thefts start, the shootings begin’ ??? We will vote for you out there in November ”.
After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, do you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts the shooting starts’ ??? We will vote you out in November. @realdonaldtrump

Despite the threat, the singer did not always state her political views openly. Only recently, in her documentary entitled “Miss Americana”, did Taylor Swift show regret for not having publicly demonstrated his opposition to the Republican leader in the 2016 presidential elections.
Twitter, however, signaled Trump’s tweet, accusing him of violating the social network’s policies against inciting violence, despite having maintained the publication because it is “in the public interest to keep the message accessible”.
