Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed: “We will definitively complete the 30-kilometre deep security strip that we are building along our southern borders”, noting that “the attacks launched by the terrorist organization ‘PKK / YBG’ and its controlling parties against Turkish forces and innocent civilians, you will not be able to dissuade Turkey from achieving this goal.”
And he underlined, during his participation in the opening ceremony of a group of development projects in the state of Sanliurfa, that “his government is determined to bring Turkey among the 10 largest economies in the world, achieving all the political and economic objectives of the vision of the “Century of Turkey”.The PKK, “which is sponsored by parties outside the borders, targets Turkey at every opportunity and kills its citizens, without distinction between children and women”.
Erdogan stressed that “Turkey is no longer a country that submits to others as in the past, but has defined its own political, economic and military vision, taking democratic and developmental steps as it pleases and speaking its word in its region and in the world”, underlining that “Turkey has compensated, in the last twenty years, its losses with great achievements and services, has established its infrastructure and gained self-confidence, and has become able to take the own decisions and take leaps and bounds with one’s own strength.”
