KOMPAS.com – A woman with the initials AM (26), a resident of Pajar Bulan Village, Pajar Bulan District, Regency All, South Sumatra, was found dead after being raped by five men.
The unfortunate event occurred on 17 August 2020 on the edge of the Betung River, Talang Tangsi Village, the local area.
After an investigation was carried out, three of the five perpetrators have now been secured by the police.
They are fish hunters named Tanhar (43), Mirzal Hadi (31), and Fikri (23).
Meanwhile, two other actors, namely AE and BB, are still in pursuit.

One of the perpetrators rape, Tanhar admitted that he had committed lecherous acts together with his four colleagues.
He was told, when the incident happened, he and his friend were down the river looking for fish.
However, he accidentally saw the victim lying on a rock on the riverbank, unconscious or unconscious.

However, this man who is already married admits that he is sorry for his actions.
“I took it easy sir to see the victim was already lying on the riverbank. I’m sorry sir. If I have a wife and children,” he said.

Kapolres Lahat AKBP Achmad Gusti Hartono said, after being raped by the perpetrators, the victim’s body was found by local residents.
Residents were shocked by the discovery of the victim’s body, then reported it to the police.
Receiving the report, his party immediately processed the scene of the case and evacuated the victim at Lahat Regional Hospital for a post mortem.
From that examination, it was found that there were irregularities in the victim’s death. This is because there were injuries to the head and sexual violence.

His party then immediately carried out the development of the investigation. Until finally arrested the perpetrators.
From the results of the investigation, the perpetrators admitted their actions.
The incident started when the perpetrators who were looking for fish accidentally found out that the victim was passed out by the river.
“The five perpetrators initially saw the victim fainted by the river. Because at that time the victim’s clothes were minimal, the perpetrators took turns raping the victim,” Gusti said when confirmed by telephone, Saturday.

It was said by the Police Chief, after giving off his lecherous desires, from the confession of the perpetrator the victim was still unconscious.

However, when he was about to be put down, the victim’s body fell and hit his head with a rock until it was suspected that he was the cause of death.

Meanwhile, when asked about the whereabouts of the victim in that location, Gusti explained, allegedly because of depression after separating from her husband.
Because from the testimony of his family, the victim has not returned home for several days.
As a result of these acts, the perpetrators will be charged under Article 338 of the Criminal Code concerning murder with a life threat.
