Watford puts trio out of selection after ‘illegal’ party | Football

sport">Gray celebrated his 29th birthday on Friday and posted on social media photos showing a group of friends playing football in his garden. About twenty invitees were not kept at a safe distance from each other.

sport">The party took place the day after the 1-0 loss to Burnley, putting Watford in even more danger of relegation. Daryl Janmaat’s club announced that Gray, Chalobah and Quina were kept out of the game selection by coach Nigel Pearson “to ensure the health and safety of the players, staff and officials in today’s game”.
