The head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Sergei Rebrov, in an interview with Profutbol Digital, shared his impressions of the match of the 13th round of the Ukrainian championship Dynamo – Shakhtar (0:1).

— There were worries so that no one would get injured, because there was a lot of damage.
This was a very important game for both teams. Shakhtar won, but now I’m only thinking about the national team’s next game.
I remember that when Dynamo and Shakhtar play, these are always principled games, regardless of the tournament. That’s why there was a lot of struggle. It was a very interesting match. “Dynamo” – “Shakhtar”, these are matches when all the players are determined to fight and win.
I watched the game with a different eye, I looked at the candidates for the national team. I liked the game, I saw how both teams tried to take points.
— Everyone is waiting for the team’s application. Was she dependent on this match?
– No, absolutely not.
— Is it already formed?
— When we created the application last time, three players dropped out. Therefore, it is now important that no one gets hurt. It will be a completely different game with Italy than with North Macedonia and Malta. All candidates will be tuned into this game.
— Will there be surprises in the application?
– We have no surprises. If we call up a new player, will it be a surprise? This player deserves a call up.
I am grateful to the youth team, which produces many candidates who now deserve to be called up to the national team. We look at all the players. I am glad that there are Spanish specialists who help us and really work. Glad we are working together.
— Your words for the fans before the final with Italy?
– This is not the final. This is a game like the others. At the beginning of the qualifying round they said that we had no chance, but now we have a chance even in the last game. Therefore, I only wish that the fans support us and believe in us. We will do everything possible.
