Two researchers in space survey discovered a small asteroid pulled by the planet’s gravity and attached to the moons that revolve around it, to settle on a temporarily fixed orbit.
The telescope and satellite lenses have detected the asteroid known as “2020 CD3”. Studies have indicated that the asteroid that started to orbit the Earth will leave its orbit, heading towards the sun next April, after which it begins its path around the sun.

BIG NEWS (thread 1/3). Earth has a new temporarily captured object / Possible mini-moon called 2020 CD3. On the night of Feb. 15, my Catalina Sky Survey teammate Teddy Pruyne and I found a 20th magnitude object. Here are the discovery images. pic.twitter.com/zLkXyGAkZl

According to “CNN”, researchers discovered Casper Wairosos and Thidor Bourne, workers at the University of Arizona in Tucson, the small moon that was pulled to the planet two or three years ago, as projections show.
According to the Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, data indicating the orbital integration indicates that this asteroid is temporarily bound to Earth.
The researchers suggest that the asteroid’s diameter can range between 6.2 feet and 11.4 feet, noting that during the next few weeks, more information will appear on the moon.
“This will help us better understand the origin of the asteroid, as well as a more accurate timeline of the date it reaches orbit,” said Eric Christensen, director of the survey.
“This will help them determine whether it is a rocky asteroid or an artificial body,” he added.
