War in Ukraine – Armed Forces moving forward

According to the president, to date, the Ukrainian military has managed to liberate more than 1,000 settlements from the invaders.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that in Ukraine more than 2.6 thousand settlements are under the control of the invaders.

He said this in the evening video message.

According to the head of state, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were able to inflict significant logistical losses on the occupiers, so it is becoming increasingly difficult for the Russian army to hold positions in the occupied territories.

“Step by step, we are advancing, breaking the supplies of the invaders, identifying and neutralizing collaborators. The prospect is obvious – the Ukrainian flag will be in all our cities and villages. The only question is time. And while this time continues, while Russia can still destroy life in Ukraine.. Like today – with strikes on Nikopol, on Toretsk, on cities in the Kharkiv region…” Zelensky said.

According to him, to date, the Ukrainian military has managed to liberate 1,028 settlements from the invaders.

“Another 2,621 are still under the control of the invaders. And with all of them – with everyone where there are people – we must maintain information communication. As much as possible,” the head of state stressed.

As UNIAN reported earlier, today, July 18, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny said that the situation at the front was stabilized: it is complex, tense, but completely controllable.
