Wolfsburg. The VW-Speak is growing. The innermost circle of power of the VW-The supervisory board is getting a little bigger.
So far, six members have sat on the board of the control committee – in the future there will be eight, like VW announced in Wolfsburg.
VW heaves Piëch and Murkovic to the top
On the capital side, Hans Michel Piëch joins the core group as another representative of the Porsche / Piëch family, and on the employee side the works council chief of the VW commercial vehicle subsidiary, Bertina Murkovic. She will be the first woman on the board.
Both are already in the extended circle of 20 guards at Volkswagen.
